‘THE POWER OF WORDS’

The Importance of Literacy   &  Creative Writing

Josephine is a recording artist, published songwriter through BMG Records, published author of short stories and well known South African children’s edutainer.

Her first children’s story book ‘Hooray for Goggles’ has recently been published by Pan Mac Millan (RSA).  It is a heart warming story about a baby goose, Goggles, who can’t see very well.  He is teased for being different, but with Josephine’s help, learns to accept himself and goes from Zero to Hero!

Josephine would love to visit your school and share with the children

Why she goes under the pseudonym name of Josephine

Why she believes the following saying is absolute rubbish!

“sticks and stones may break my bones – but words will never harm me!

A rudder on a ship is very small in comparison to the size of its ship.  However, one slight turn on the rudder and the entire ship will change course.

So the tongue is like the rudder, one word can change the course of a person’s life.

HEAL OR HARM?

During Josephine’s show, Goggles makes a surprise visit to share his story and very powerful message with the children – that is - although you are all different
